We ‘Make a Difference’ features a group of individuals from Alpha Community Opportunities.  Pictured rear l to r Nick, Donna G. and Scott and front l to r Al, Terry and Donna W., this is what they say –

Nick says, “I love it here and I’m very happy!”

Donna W. states, “I love to help people with disabilities and I am very proud of the classes that we take. I like to knit as it is one of my favorite hobbies.”

Scott says, “I like all of my friends here as I have a lot of good people around me. They like my jokes and personality.”

Terry states, “I love the staff and my friends. Plus, I am an advocate for people with developmental disabilities.”

Donna G. says, “I love to sing and dance! Plus, I am an artist too. I enjoy attending supplemental day program as well. I perform in area nursing homes. I love to have friends here, the Book Club and other community volunteer and social activities.”

Al states, “It is fun to be around my friends to socialize, play games and art classes. I hope to become an artist someday like my other peers that go to Mondays classes. I like helping out in the community as well.”
